Job description

We are a family-owned, floral supply company that has been in business for over 85 years. Immediate Full-Time Opening for hard-working, dependable, early-riser

Base Responsibilities:

  • Use a POS system to invoice customers – Includes cash handling
  • Answer the phone and help customers with product questions/take orders
  • Maintain a positive attitude and friendly work environment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks
  • Assist with materials handling and stock organization within the warehouse
  • Possible delivery driver for customer’s orders

Management Responsibilities:

  • Manage Staff:
  • Support the manager in overseeing daily operations.
  • Delegate tasks and provide guidance to team members.
  • Ensure all staff members perform effectively.
  • Customer Service Management:
  • Handle escalated inquiries or issues promptly.
  • Provide support to staff in managing customer complaints.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development:
  • Assist in training new employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support for staff development.
  • Help improve team skills and performance.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Conduct regular stock checks.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking.
  • Operational Oversight:
  • Ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Implement strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Merchandising Assistance:
  • Support in creating visually appealing displays.
  • Arrange merchandise for optimal sales.
  • Monitor product placement and suggest improvements.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Assist with scheduling staff shifts.
  • Process payroll and generate reports.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections.
  • Provide staff training on safety procedures.


  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
  • English speaking (ESL is acceptable), bi-lingual
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Clean Driving Record ( Driver position only)
  • Driver’s License (Driver position only)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 – $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 42 per week
